This relates to those three extra questions in the discussion of question 5. Nobody on the planet was born with total self- confidence, therefore there is no one who hasn't at some point held back, gone for the easy option or otherwise compromised what they truly wanted in the moment. But you would go crazy if you allowed yourself to be full of regret for lost opportunity. It is far better to tell yourself that you did your best with what you had available at the time, and now you can do better.

In fact, it was making those earlier compromises and mistakes that built your character and ultimately set you off on your journey of growth and increased authenticity. Regret nothing, live life to the full, and build your dreams as they are today.

There is no real right and wrong here, but your answers will have revealed a lot about your attitudes to confidence.
