In the book we identify 10 qualities, which we see as core indicators of confidence, which you can then explore through the chapters. We also include a self-test that is reproduced here by permission of Wiley Publishers.
 

Finding your place on the scale
 

The 20 statements in the questionnaire relate to these indicators of confidence. Consider each and decide on the extent to which you agree or disagree using the five-point scale provided. Take the test as often as you like and keep a note of your developing profile.

This questionnaire will provide you with a very simple stock take of some of the main areas of your life that will be affecting your confidence right now. If you answer the questions accurately you will be able to use specific chapters of this book to target the areas that will benefit from immediate attention.

There are no right or wrong answers. If you answer as honestly as you can, you get a rounded view of how your confidence indicators stack up as you begin building your confidence through this book.
